This service targets the surface of the grout (or joint filler) between kitchen wall and floor tiles, removing yellow oxidation films and localized black spots caused by the mixture of cooking fumes and mopping water. Technicians use a microfiber polishing wheel paired with a specialized grout cleaning paste to buff and wipe each grout line at low speed; they then remove paste residue with a damp sponge and buff the surface with a dry cloth to restore the grout’s original light or neutral tone.
For this customized service, please confirm that the grout has fully cured (usually more than 72 hours after application) and provide the tile specifications and total area. Upon arrival, we will perform a 3cm test in an inconspicuous area (such as the base of the cabinets) and proceed with the full job only after obtaining your approval. Work is carried out section by section to ensure thoroughness without damaging the bond between the grout and the tiles.
After cleaning, the grout color appears more uniform, the overall visual appeal of the floor or wall is enhanced, and the surface is less prone to trapping dirt during daily mopping. We recommend wringing out your mop thoroughly to minimize standing water, though we do not guarantee “permanent resistance to yellowing” or “increased hardness.”
